Our Flat Friend® Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy is made from 100% Australian Premium Dense Soft and Luxurious Lambskin/Sheepskin Fleece with no stuffing, which is pure fur and leather and all natural. For this reason, you cannot wash your Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy in a washing machine or submerge the soft toy in water, because you will destroy your Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft toy—it will stiffen and lose its shape and loveliness.

If your Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy needs to be cleaned;

• Do Not Immerse it in Water, Surface Clean Only with a Damp Cloth.
• Only surface clean your Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy, do not let the leather get wet, use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the top of the fur.
• Do not wet the leather, only surface clean the fur/fleece. The leather will stiffen if you wet it and you will destroy your Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy.
• Use lukewarm clear and clean water. Do not use hot water. Dampen the cloth, make sure you wring out any excess water so that the leather does not get wet. Using your damp cloth, gently wipe the stain on the fur until it disappears. Do use be aggressive, you will affect the fur/fleece. Gently rubbing will clean the fur/fleece. The fur/fleece has natural lanolin which keeps it soft and comfortable.
• If the stain is stubborn and needs detergent;
• Use a small drop of a non-enzyme, delicate wool-wash on a wet clean sponge or cloth, and then
• Use lukewarm clear water on a clean sponge or cloth and remove all the detergent and any leftover stain.
• You must make sure that all the soap/detergent is removed.
• The fur will be slightly damp from the sponge or cloth, you must shake off any moisture.
• To completely dry the Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy;
• Lay the Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy Flat on a towel,
• Fold a towel over the Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy and gently press the towel on the soft toy to absorb excess moisture,
• Place the Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy Flat in a well-ventilated place to air dry,
• Turn the Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy to air dry the other side,
• Continue turning the Lambskin/Sheepskin Flat Soft Toy until both sides are completely air dried,
• Do not use a tumble dryer and do not hang in the sun. Both these methods will damage and stiffen the leather and destroy your soft toy.
• Use a soft bristle grooming brush to remove any water spots and to freshen the fur. Please remember to only use a soft bristle brush and to brush in the same direction as the fur or grain otherwise you will pull the fur and damage your Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy.
• You must make certain that the Lambskin/Sheepskin Soft Toy is completely dry to avoid bacteria build up in the fur.

We use Premium Quality Soft and Luxurious fabric that best defines the colours of the animal. To give your Animal Hand Puppet form, structure and to make it easier and lovelier for you to hold and to bring to life, we use foam and stuff the hand puppet with soft and light polyester, and or polyester/cotton filling.

Our Flat Friend® Animal Hand Puppets are surface-washable, which means only the surface of the fabric can be wiped clean. Please do not use a washing machine or submerge your puppet in water, otherwise your puppet will die by losing its shape. The stuffing will become lumpy and you will destroy the foam and any other material we use to give the puppet form and structure.

If your Animal Hand Puppet needs to be cleaned;

• You can surface clean your Animal Hand Puppet; that is the top of the fabric can we wiped with a wet cloth or sponge.

Washing the clothing used for your doll hand puppet;

• You can use a washing machine to wash the clothing.
• Use cold water.
• Use a small drop of a non-enzyme, delicate wool-wash.
• The spin speed must not exceed 900, for best results use 600 or drip/dry.
• Hang the doll clothing in the shade on a washing line, otherwise the sun will change the colour or damage the fabric.
• If the clothing is drip/dry, the doll clothing will not need to be ironed.
• Make certain that the clothing is completely dry before packing the clothes or dressing your doll hand puppet with the clothes.
• Do not iron.
