Indiana is a medium-sized snake and lives in highly vegetated, dry forests in Madagascar. She’s non-venomous and loves being cared for. She hunts for mammals, rabbits, rats, and eats birds and lizards. She’s cold blooded, sleeping intermittently throughout the day in the sun or during the night in her warm burrow.
Indiana, our Dumeril boa snake, is a full-bodied hand puppet. She’s carefully hand-crafted using soft velour fabric and stuffed like a soft toy, allowing you to hold her with comfort and ease. Your hand goes from her neck into her head.

Benefits of Puppets
Research with early education specialists has highlighted and proven that puppets, as an educational toy for a child’s growing and developing mind have many benefits. Puppets are used as a teacher’s or parent’s aid.
Your children will listen to their animal puppet. When you speak through an animal puppet, your child will respond positively. The puppet will ask your child to brush their teeth or do their homework. You’ll find that your child will complete these tasks, because it’s the puppet asking and not you.
